We strongly believe that the following 10 websites in one way or another have defined the web space and are beacons of inspiration to all those with a passion playground that is that internet. These websites oil the internet wheel.
1. Google
Google is just one of those companies that you love to love. From it’s simple clean home page, to its ingenious AdWords and AdSense programs. One of my favourite things about Google is the world of possibilities it opens. From Google Alerts: this is a tool that emails updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) to Google Zeitgeist: which gives you are insight in search patterns, trends, and surprises. To Google is now part of the English language, how many times have you googled a someone!
2. How stuff works
This is an amazing site! How stuff works is so good that if they charged for the service many would pay. It’s that good. Are you curious how something works, this site will give you the answer.
3. Amazon
Amazon is credited to inventing affiliate marketing. Amazon redefined the consumer to consumer business concept. Everybody loves a bargain and there is always one to be had at Amazon. What we love most about Amazon is its simplicity and user friendliness.
4. BBC
BBC is the online news superstar. Its mission statement is to enrich people’s lives with programmes and services that inform, educate and entertain. In essence it does this and more. BBC is used by many as the barometer on the way of the world. One of our favourite sections is learning, it encourages the pursuit of knowledge in various topics, from Spanish to Raw which gives you skills for everyday life. Whatever you do, whatever you are the BBC is one site that should bookmark.
5. Science Daily
Science Daily has over 65000 free research articles, 15000 images, 2500 encyclopaedia entries, 1500 book reviews and hundreds to videos. These are impressive numbers and the site has intriguing articles. If it is worth knowing about chances are that you will find out about it on Science Daily.
6. Forbes
Call it wishful thinking if you must but there is always something reassuring about reading about the lives on the rich and famous. Forbes gives you an insight on the richest people in the world and their net worth. Whilst the Forbes is a bit busy do not let this put you off. There is a wealth of information to be had, industry experts are on hand to show you the ropes and point you in the right direction. 7. Twitter
Twitter has taken the world by storm, from President Obama to Ben Stiller. Why do so many people seem to like Twitter? Simplicity has played an important role in Twitter's success. People are eager to connect with other people and Twitter makes that simple. Twitter asks one question, "What are you doing?" Answers must be under 140 characters in length and can be sent via mobile texting, instant message, or the web.

All work and and no play makes Jack a dull boy. And we agree. “Shockwave is where the world comes to play!”, this site offers a wide range of more than 450 games, with new ones added each week. It has games that get your heart pumping, games to get your brain buzzing, or games to help you unwind. You will enjoy this site… go on have a break and play with Shockwave and see for yourself!
9. Wikipedia.org
The unique thing about Wikipedia is that anyone with access to the internet can make contributions to the articles. There are over 10,000,000 articles in more than 260 languages. Wikipedia business model dictates that the quality of articles will increase over time. The best articles on Wikipedia are called Featured Articles and display a small star in the upper right corner of the article. Wikipedia.org is a true Web 2.0 website and true to form its greatest strength is its greatest weakness. It is open to everyone…

What started as a place to trade collectable's and hard-to-find items has developed into a marketplace where you can find practically anything. EBay is a treasure trove. Buying and selling on eBay in these tough economic times makes financial logic.
